Прослава славе Кола Српских Сестара наше парохије

Покров Пресвете Богородице

И ове године смо, Богу хвала, у нашем храму свечано прославили празник Покров Пресвете Богородице, који је уједно и крсна слава Кола Српских Сестара (КСС) наше црквено-школске општине. 

Прославу смо уприличили у недељу, 12. октобра, на Михољдан, иако се Покров Пресевете Богородице празнује 14. октобра. Прославу смо почели Светом Литургијом коју је служио наш парохијски свештеник о. Алекса Мићић. Након Свете Литургије освештали смо славски колач, вино, и кољиво, а затим се верни народ окупио око заједничке славске трпезе уз музички програм који су приредили наши Вукан и Срђан.

Ове године, кумe славе су биле Светлана Зовко и Валентина Јањуш, којима се захваљујемо и честитамо кумство, и желимо њима и њиховим најмилијима свако добро од Господа.

Данас као православни народи светло празнујемо,

осењени Твојим, Богомати, доласком,

и гледајући Твој пречисти лик, умилно говоримо:

Закрили нас славним Твојим покровом и од свакога зла нас избави,

молећи Сина Твога, Христа Бога нашега, да спасе душе наше.

Дјева данас у цркви предстоји

и са Светима се невидљиво моли Богу за нас.

Анђели са архијерејима клањају се,

Апостоли са пророцима веселе се,

Celebration of Slava of the Circle of Serbian Sisters

The Protection of the Most Holy Theotokos

This year we celebrated the Feast of the Protection of the Most Holy Theotokos on Sunday, October 12th. His important feast and holiday is also a patron feast of the Circle of Serbian Sisters of our congregation. 
We held the celebration on October 12th, Miholjdan (in Serbian), although the Protection of the Most Holy Theotokos is celebrated on October 14. We began the celebration with the Divine Liturgy, which was officiated by our parish priest, Father Aleksa Mićić. After the Divine Liturgy, the faithful gathered in the chuch hall to particiapte in the blessing of festal bread, wine, and wheat, and enjoyed a shared festal luncheon, acompanbyed by the musical program performed by Vukan and Srđan.

This year, the hosts (kume) of the Fiest were Svetlana Zovko and Valentina Janjuš, to whom we thank and congratulate, and we wish to them and their loved ones many blessings from the Lord.

Troparion, Tone 4: 

On this day we, the Orthodox people, joyously keep festival,

illumined by your coming, O Mother of God;

and, beholding your most pure image, we cry out with compunction:

"Cover us with your Protecting Veil and deliver us from all evil,  

entreating your Son, Christ our God, to save our souls."

Today the Virgin stands in the church,
